The Role of Healthy Diet for Happy Life
The most commonly used statement when we talk about diet is "We are what we eat". Simply If we eat more natural food and limit and avoid intake of processed food will be better for our health. One of the key important points I need to bring into consideration is that we need to enjoy our food to be a better version of ourselves about health.
There is no magic diet for weight loss. What helps in the long term is healthy eating habits, physical activity regime, a proper sleep cycle, and good mental health.
If we talk about healthy eating it doesn't mean you need to eat costly diet foods like diet snacks, diet coke, sugar-free Biscuits, fat-free snacks, dairy-free, low fat, or vegan diets. What I meant by healthy eating is to eat locally grown fruits and vegetables, millets, pulses, legumes, whole cereals, poultry, nuts oil seeds. But to learn about what to eat, and the quantity and quality of food to eat in case of any health disorder or disease you need to consult a qualified dietitian or nutritionist.
We need to avoid processed food in excess because we will be deprived of adequate nourishment if we eat processed food and also will be more prone to obesity, diabetes mellitus, cardiovascular diseases, cancer, stroke, calcium deficiency, anemia, Polycystic Ovarian Disease, Weak bones, Hormonal imbalance, constipation, bloating, Gastro Esophageal reflux and much more.
So it depends on us to follow a healthy eating regime for the prevention of health ailments and diseases, more productivity at work, and better mental and physical health.
No doubt in the present scenario people have a lot of stress in their life but keep in mind health must be over first priority if we want to live a healthy, active, and sustainable lifestyle.
In end, I again want to repeat it eat healthily and it will take care of our health.
